Last night we had the pleasure to attend the the newest Disney On Ice Show Princesses & Heroes at the BB&T Center in Broward County. The show was beautiful and It was a hit for kids and adults!
Mickey & Minnie presented themselves as moderators, as well as Tinkerbell. The show consisted of condensed stories of our favorite Disney Princesses and their heroes: Jasmine & Aladdin, Snow White & prince, Belle & Beast, Ariel & Eric, Aurora with Prince Phillip and more!. My girls were so impressed with the actor’s skating skills, choreography and costume. Plus, the visual effects were astounding! It was so surprising when the Dragon that was chasing Prince Phillip breathed real fire!!
Another great element of the show was the portrayal of the 3 classic princesses: Snow White, Aurora & Cinderella… Since I grew up watching their movies it really made me feel very nostalgic and was instantly brought back to my childhood… My husband won’t admit it but I know he felt the same way
All in all it was a wonderful presentation! My girls felt like princesses themselves and came home super happy. Disney On Ice never disappoints with its colorful songs and dances. Every year they find a way to keep it fresh without modifying the classics. The skater’s skills were out of this world! They spun, they danced and they jumped (a few feet high!). It was truly the highlight of our week and we are already looking forward to next year.
Here’s my girls honest opinion of the show:
2 things you should keep in mind:
1) Bring a sweater! Since there’s so much ice it can get really chilly.
2) The show starts on the dot promptly, so please make the effort to be on time. People who come in late usually tend to disturb others.
