This was my face when the cashier read the total… In my original list I have calculated on spending around $7…. But then I got to the store and started changing everything and adding items at the last minute without recalculating the total…. Oh well! At least I stocked up on pasta, sauce & Glad Wrap!

And, I lost my coupons for the free veggies… Must have tossed them with the ones that expired today that I went through two days ago… YUCK.

Always check your receipt before you leave the parking lot if the numbers seem off. One time my shop was way higher than I thought – and it was a small shop, too – and when I checked the receipt the cashier had accidently ADDED the $5 W/D coupon instead of subtracting it.
A CS supervisor was watching me peruse my receipt and when I showed her what happened she was very apologetic, took me to the CS desk and repaid me. Gotta love Publix!
Of course I can’t tell you how often I’m the one making the mistakes….
